Core Features

Refrigeration Principle

1. Evaporation Process: When low-temperature and low-pressure liquid refrigerant flows through the evaporator of the tube ice machine, it absorbs heat and vaporizes, eventually turning into low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant vapor.

2. Compression Process: The refrigerant vapor generated by the evaporator is sucked into the compressor, and after compression, it is converted into high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant.

3. Condensation Process: The high-temperature, high-pressure superheated refrigerant vapor discharged from the compressor enters the condenser, and after cooling, it is converted into normal-temperature and high-pressure liquid refrigerant.

4. Throttling Process: The liquid refrigerant from the condenser is throttled and depressurized to the evaporation pressure through the expansion valve. The low-temperature and low-pressure gas-liquid mixture formed after throttling enters the evaporator to start the next evaporation cycle.


Compressor operation instructions

The principle of the compressor compressing refrigerant is similar to the operation mechanism of a piston engine. During piston movement, the tube ice machine's compressor needs to be lubricated with lubricating oil; otherwise, the piston and intermediate connecting rod will damage the compressor components due to increased friction.

The cavity of the motor part is equipped with cooling fins to accelerate heat dissipation. Frosting in this area is normal, but if the frost layer covers beyond the coil position, it is abnormal and needs to be inspected in a timely manner.

Regarding frosting on the compressor end cover and customers' concerns about liquid hammer, you can explain to customers: On one hand, frosting on the end cover ensures more uniform ice freezing; on the other hand, it cools the compressor motor through the gaseous refrigerant returning to the compressor. Our engineers have reduced the superheat to a certain extent through optimized design, in line with our core requirements for ice quality, to achieve the above effects.
